NASELLE DROPS BASEBALL NAILBITER
Naselle rapped out 16 hits, but North Beach plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to edge the Comets 11-10 in a Pacific 2B League baseball game at Oyehut.
Missing three pitchers due to disciplinary suspensions and another with a broken arm, the Comets offense nearly carried Naselle to a win.
Marcus Sanchez, Kevin Maki and Kevin Gilbert each had two hits and two runs batted in and Matt Chavez added a double and three RBI's.
The 1-3 Comets head to The Harbors again to take on Ocosta Friday afternoon.
