VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP-Tuesday

Astoria def. Scappoose 25-11, 25-16, 25-14...Three Lady Fishermen had double figures in kills, led by junior Kristin Saulsbury with 15 as Astoria swept the Indians at Scappoose. The Lady Fishermen (11-1 Cowapa League, 12-1 overall) host 9-3 Tillamook Thursday night in a game that could determine the Cowapa League championship. The Cheesemakers swept Seaside 25-12, 25-3, 25-17 at Tillamook Tuesday night.
Portland Lutheran def. Knappa 25-21, 25-12, 25-17...The Loggers lost at home in a sweep to the Blue Jays.
Naselle def. Willapa Valley 25-11, 25-23, 25-15...Sylvia Herrold had 14 kills and Jamie Bighill recorded 49 assists in a home sweep for the Comets, who improved to 4-0 in Pacific 2B League nad 11-1 overall. Naselle travels to North Beach on Thursday.
Jewell def. Open Bible Christian 25-17, 25-3, 25-17...The Jays stayed perfect in the Casco League, collecting 51 kills as a team in a 3-game home sweep.
