KNAPPA SUMMER LEAGUE ROUNDUP

Ed's Septic and Danger Den prepared for a first place showdown on Monday with wins Thursday night as the second Knappa Summer Basketball League heads toward playoff week.

Andrew Nieman scored 35 points and the Harrell brothers combined for 45 as Ed's Septic won its eighth straight game, routing Teevin Brothers 106-70.

Tex Cokley scored 38 points and Nate McBride hit 9 of 10 free throws in the final three minutes, finishing with 23 points as Danger Den held off The Logger 90-87. Brian Jackson scored a game-high 45 in a losing effort.

Ed's Septic and Danger Den, both 8-1, will play for the top seed in the playoffs in Monday's regular season finale at 7:10 p.m.

Nygaard/Hunt snapped a five-game losing streak against an undermanned Link's Outdoor with a 99-65 victory. Mike Cokley led the way with 36 points.

The final regular season games will be Monday night with plaoffs beginning Wednesday, August 8th with games at 6:00 and 7:10 p.m.

The first Knappa Summer League All-Star game will be held on Tuesday, August 14th at KHS. Game time will be 7:00 p.m. The top 12 players will be chosen by the league players and split into two squads. The league MVP will be announced at halftime.
