VOLLEYBALL ROUNDUP-Tuesday

White Salmon def. Ilwaco 25-19, 19-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-12...The Lady Fishermen came close to their first Trico league win before falling to the Bruins at home.
Warrenton def. Riverdale 25-5, 25-5, 25-4...The Warriors served 70-for-72 and Emily Ogren led the way with six kills in a dominating performance at home. The Warriors, now 5-2 in Lewis & Clark League and 8-2 overall, host Rainier in a big game Thursday night.
Corbett def. Knappa 25-16, 25-10, 25-13...The 4th-ranked Cardinals handled Knappa at Corbett.
Naselle def. Tacoma Baptist 25-14, 25-21, 25-12...Sylvia Herrold had nine of her match-high 16 kills in game one of a 3-game home sweep for the Comets. Jamie Bighill and Jenny Klinger each served 100% for the match and High School Heisman nominee Cheryl Steppe had 14 digs. The Comets travel to Lacey Thursday night to take on Northwest Christian.
Jewell def. St. Paul 19-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-15...Sonia Borders had 18 kills and 8 service aces to help lead the Jays to a win at home, extending their perfect Casco League record.
