COMETS WIN AT SEATTLE, NOW 2-1

The Naselle Comets won a wild offensive show at West Seattle High School, defeating Seattle Lutheran 52-30 to improve to 2-1 on the season.

The Comets led 36-12 in a game that featured little defense.

"It was the kind of game that makes you smile and gives you grey hairs at the same time," said Comets' head coach Robin Andrea, who was unable to provide statistics, but commented that quarterback Kyle Burkhalter ran for, "about 4 or 500 yards."

All three of Naselle's freshman running backs--Austin Burkhalter, Cody Gilbert and Alan Erickson--scored touchdowns in the win.

Naselle opens Pacific 2B League play at home next Friday against Raymond.
