BOYS BASKETBALL
Warrenton 42, Ocosta 40...Junior guard Ryan Lampi scored 12 points, including key free throws down the stretch as the Warriors edged Ocosta to improve to 2-2 on the season. Jordan Little had 17 rebounds to go with nine points. The Warriors travel to Harrisburg, facing Heppner in the first round of the Eagle Classic Tournament Friday at 4:30 p.m.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Warrenton 45, Ocosta 23...The Lady Warriors held Ocosta scoreless in the first quarter and outscored the Wildcats 28-5 in the first half on the way to their third straight victory. Emily Ogren scored 12 points and had five rebounds, Jordyn Holt and Jordane Marxer had four steals each and Justine Marxer had six points, four assists and three steals. The Warriors (3-1) face a tough Heppner squad in the opening game of the Harrisburg Eagle Classic Tournament on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Reedsport faces Harrisburg in the other matchup.
