FREESE WINS AGAIN-ILWACO BOYS 3RD AT CATHLAMET
Ilwaco's Kelly Freese won another cross country race Thursday, taking first place at Cathlamet with a time of 20:23. There were no complete girls teams competing.
The Ilwaco boys finished third with 66 points, behind second and third place finishes respectively from Carl Jackson (17:23) and Steven Berglund (17:25). Wahkiakum's Walker Riley took first with a time of 16:11, leading the Mules to the team trophy with 36 points. Montesano was second with 56 points and Naselle finished fourth with 68 points.
No Naselle individual results were reported.
