L.C. 10's LOOK FOR FIRST WIN AT STATE
The North Oregon Cal Ripken 10-and-under State Tournament gets underway at Dundee School today.
The Lower Columbia team, thus far winless at tournaments, faces perennial power West Linn to kick off pool play at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. Immediately afterwards, Lower Columbia takes on Sandy at 3:30 p.m.
Other teams at the state tournament include Seaside, Dallas, Central, Newberg and an automatic 10B state champion qualifier.
The tournament continues through Sunday with the first place team advancing to regional competition.
