LADY LOGGERS WIN FOURTH STRAIGHT
Rachele Schuyler scored a career-high 21 points and led Knappa with 11 rebounds and four steals as the Lady Loggers defeated Clatskanie 57-46 at Knappa Wednesday night to improve to 4-0 on the season.
After Clatskanie sophomore Maria Nolan opened the game with the first two of her team-high 14 points, Knappa scored seven straight to take a lead it would not relinquish. The Loggers led 14-10 at the end of one period and gradually pulled away, building a 54-33 lead with just over two minutes to play before Clatskanie for 12 points down the stretch to close the margin.
Kirsty Coghill had four assists and two steals to go with eight points and Meagan Harn had nine rebounds and a pair of steals in addition to her six points.
Kylie Bates had nine points and five assists for Clatskanie and sophomore Kim Green was impressive off the bench, scoring eight points and recording four steals.
The Loggers face their toughest test yet with a game at Hockinson Friday night.
